I Could not Recommend or rate highly enough, there’s not enough stars in the sky (or on Facebook) for this review.
Where do I even begin?!? I started my search for my dream wedding dress about 1.5yrs before my day & after visiting other bridal shops I actually became super disheartened as I couldn’t find what I was looking for and some VERY bad experiences with rude staff at other bridal stores (different story) then I visited the girls at Sovereign Harbour, I’d never experienced customer service like it! From the moment my mother and I, entered the store both of the lovely ladies were so welcoming and very knowledgeable.
After trying on a few dresses (all of which were amazing) Annabelle suggested trying on one she had picked out (It was gorgeous but I initially wasn’t crazy about it on the hanger) I tried it on & that was it! It was if it was made for me. If it wasn’t for Annabelle I never would of even tried it on! It was just the most beautiful dress I had ever seen (and I’ve seen a lot as I’m a wedding photographer) I’ve never felt so beautiful in my life and Annabelle and Jan were just amazing throughout the whole process & just feel so blessed to have met them.

If your looking for somewhere to buy a dress look no further.... these ladies know their stuff & also take the time to listen to what you want (even if you don’t really know) & they are generally interested in making your big day as amazing as possible.

I’ve also worked along side Annabelle at one of my clients wedding (where she was there to dress the bride) she was OUT OF THIS WORLD amazing.... specially as the bridal party was running late & the bridesmaid dresses were too big so she even went above and beyond to rectify that (even though the bridesmaid dresses were nothing to do with tying the knot or her problem) she had a sewing kit with her and was there like a super hero sewing all these bridesmaids into their dresses!!!

I am not sure where to start…! Annabelle and Jan have been fantastic since day one. I came to an open evening at Tying the knot about a month after I got engaged. Shopping for my wedding dress was the one task that I was absolutely dreading! However, the moment I stepped through the door Annabelle and Jan made me feel comfortable and so welcome!

When it came to my wedding dress appointment I was so nervous but as soon as we started trying on the dresses my confidence grew, it helps so much that the boutique is closed for each appointment, so it is just you and your friends and family there. Annabelle is excellent at making brides feel special and beautiful in all of the dresses and also in knowing what dress will suit you! It wasn’t until about dress number 5 that I feel in love with ‘the dress’ and I just didn’t want to take it off! I ordered the dress the same day, as well as shoes and veil!

After I had ordered the dress, they were great at keeping me up to date with how it was all going and also let me come back for extra appointments so I could show my step mum and all of my bridesmaids my dress!
I used Annabelle’s recommended seamstress Ruby who was excellent and did an amazing job with all the alterations!

On the day before our wedding I collected my dress and it was pouring down (luckily it dried up before the wedding day)! I didn’t know how to drive to the front of the shop as it’s in the harbour, so Annabelle drove me and my dress round to my car to get it packed away safely which I so appreciated. All these little bits really meant so much to me – you both really do go above and beyond!

I recommended Tying the Knot to a friend who is getting married next year and she has also brought her beautiful wedding dress from there!
I felt amazing in my dress on our wedding day, I had so many compliments and the dress looked so beautiful in our wedding pictures I am so happy with the choice I made!

From the moment I stepped into Tying the Knot Bridal, Jan and Annabelle made me feel like part of their family.
I was incredibly nervous about trying on dresses and they both took their time reassuring me.
We found "the one" on dress number 3, although I wanted just a bit more sparkled and they were super helpful in helping make that happen.
Throughout all of the fittings, nothing was too much effort, and no question too silly as I worried about various details.
I booked the dressing service as well, which meant that on the morning of the Wedding they both came to help me get dressed which took a massive weight off of both mine and my mums shoulders as we knew the dress would look perfect!
All in all, I couldn't recommend Jan and Annabelle enough, they made the process an absolute Joy!

From the moment I stepped in your door you made me feel so welcome and like we had been friends for years .
Let's face it when i first met you I was quite large after having my first baby - but you both had so much faith that I would be where I wanted to be by the time the big day came round . You made me feel so comfortable in my own skin - which is a massive thing after having a baby lol!
Poor Jan let me try on about 11 dresses until I found The ONE!
She was so patient with me .
I thought I knew what I wanted - but Jan knew exactly what would suit me and when I let her pick a dress out for me - that was is it! I was in tears ! It was the one!!
They helped me with alterations , the steaming of the dresses (bridesmaid dresses too) and lots of fittings .
Thank you so much ladies ! I 1000% would recommend you!

"Found the dress of my dreams in this beautiful shop and Annabelle and Jan were absolutely amazing!! Both ladies are so caring and compassionate and know exactly what they are talking about and what they are doing.
Every time I went to the shop me and my dress were all that mattered!
Even when I found out I was pregnant but wanted to keep the same dress they sorted the whole thing out - there was no stress and no panic - the dress was the only thing I wasn't worried about as I knew they had it sorted.
The dress was beautiful and I can't recommend the ladies enough! I would also like to say the seamstress they use is clearly outstanding - the alterations she made were incredible!

Jan and Annabelle have been amazing from the first day when I went to look at dresses until the very end. I popped in many times to try my dress on, have alterations, try it with a veil etc and they were accommodating every time.
They were both open and honest, which is exactly what I needed and they provided me with an amazing experience when purchasing my wedding dress.
The dresses they have to offer are absolutely gorgeous and I felt like a princess! I purchased my veil from there too and also had the dress altered by their seamstress!
They also offer a dry cleaning service which I will take their offer up on within the next few months.
They really made this experience perfect for me and I cannot thank them both enough. My husband and everyone else also loved the dress!

The second I walked into the door I was welcomed by Jan and Annabelle with smiles and hugs and congratulations on forthcoming big day.
I visited with my mum and bridesmaids and the ladies here were amazing. Giving us plenty of time to look at the dresses and help us find some that were like what I was looking for. They were so helpful and honest which is what you want when you’re trying to find the best dress you’ll ever wear!

The dress I choice was beautiful and I felt so amazing when I was wearing it. I want to thank the girls so much as they were so great especially with helping me change the dress so it was bespoke to me. I would highly recommend Tying the Knot to any brides to be. The loveliest women.

Jan and Annabelle have been amazing through my whole dress experience. They helped me pick a dress that was perfect for me and kept in contact through the whole process.

I had a complete panic worrying that the dress wouldn't fit me 3 weeks before the wedding, and they went out of their way to reassure me and make me feel perfect (it did fit, I was just anxious!!).
